I am so glad you vlogged about week 5! I NEVER would have known that day 3 of week 5 was a 20 minute run! I don't look ahead in the app. yes I read the workout but I figured it would be the same as the first day.

Now I'm excited. I'm going to run on my favorite track where I used to run 10 years ago! Heat be damned I'm going for w5d1 tomorow so I will get to the 20 min run by sunday! 🙂

Ok HOW did you not call me to tell me this story? You've got me cracking up here! Yay you though… and I was not mentally "oh I could have run a few more minutes" after my 20 minute run. Sheesh!

Like the hair color – it looks darker today 🙂

I am still dumbfounded that you're looking forward to the 25 minute one. I'm doing my fourth 25 on Friday (W6D3 and all of W7) and absolutely not looking forward to it at all. On the plus side, I woke up this am and did the "hey, at least I know I can run the 25 minutes" attitude.

Showoff 🙂 And yes, we still love you without the makeup!

I absolutely love you vlogging your Couch to 5K updates. LOVE!! You're so cute and you're going to rock that 5K in NYC…such excitement!

I'm back tracking a bit on the program as we've gone from Fall-like temperatures to a heatwave overnight and it's destroyed my progress – my last run was a failure but I'm not going to let it get me down. I'm thinking of re-doing week 4 (instead of carrying on with a failed start to Week 5) to acclimatize myself to the heat.

Scary man in bushes with light! That's a bit creepy … good for you to keep running, and running away!

YAAAAAY!!!! Great job!!! I'm proud of you!!

    I wrote about becoming a runner: http://blog.fitcityindy.org/runner/

I'm still on my running break until next week and then I plan to start the C25K program from scratch but at a faster speed and using everything I've learned over the past months.

I remember how great it felt to run 5 mins, 8 mins, 20 mins. You're doing AWESOME!
