Test Drive A Cadillac AND Support The Avon Walk For Breast Cancer!

I’m guessing that most of us know at least one other person who has been affected by breast cancer. I’m also guessing that each of us with someone special who has been affected by breast cancer has an interest in making sure that all of the research that’s being done in order to prevent, treat, and eradicate this disease can continue.

What if I told you that there was an easy way for you to donate to the cause, while having some fun at the same time?

The Avon Walk For Breast Cancer, a two-day, 39-mile fundraising walk which began in 2003 and raised $423 million dollars in its first nine years, is coming to Chicago on June 1 and 2. For the third year in a row, Cadillac is the premier sponsor. For the second year in a row, some of my friends are walking it. But more on that in a minute: let me get back to Cadillac.

As the premier sponsor, one of the fabulous ways that Cadillac is supporting the walk is to donate $25 to the fundraising account of the walker of your choice when you (and anyone else as long as they’re over the age of eighteen!) test drive a car at a participating Cadillac dealer on Saturday, April 13 and Saturday, April 20 (and provide a registered walker’s 6-digit participant number). Test drivers will receive a receipt verifying the test drive and the donation. Really, it couldn’t be easier, and you don’t even have to spend your own money unless you decide after the test drive that you want to go ahead and buy that red 2013 Cadillac ATS that you’ve been dreaming about.

I did this last year and look forward to doing it again next Saturday to support my friend Rita who is walking on team One More Mile. Her participant number is #341321, and if you’re in the Chicago area I would love you even more than I already do if you would head over to test drive a vehicle and assist Rita in her fundraising efforts. Participating Cadillac dealers in the Chicago area are:

Barrington IL, Motor Werks
Bourbonnais IL, David Bruce Auto Center
Calumet City IL, Napleton Cadillac
Chicago IL, Grossinger City Autoplex
