House Party With The Glade® Home Style Studio!

It was a busy weekend! You already know that I absolutely adore spending time in the city. You also already know that I am usually pretty outgoing, so talking to people isn’t a problem.

Working with the folks on the Glade® Expressions™ Happiair Tour this weekend meant combining two of my favorite things: the city and talking. (Seriously!) I was part of the Street Team (not the official name but it really makes me sound cool so I’m going with it), tweeting and Facebooking while passersby (and their noses) checked out the products that make up the new Glade® Expressions™ Collection. (The Collection features a Fragrance Mist and Oil Diffuser, and is offered in four great fragrances: Cotton & Italian Mandarin, Pineapple & Mangosteen, Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice, and Lavender & Juniper Berry.) I loved getting out there and chatting with people about how they can use these products in combination with their décor to make their home even more comfortable and inviting. On Saturday the truck was at Navy Pier.

Yesterday, the truck was at Old Orchard Shopping Center in Skokie. One of my friends came out to investigate the new products for herself!

I also hosted a bunch of friends at my sweet-smellin’ house yesterday, and I shared the Glade® Expressions™ Collection with them, too! I got creative in planning the afternoon menu of Glade® fragrance-inspired snacks and went with Ambrosia Salad, Apple Bread (made with Fuji apples, of course!), a variation on Caprese salad, dried pineapple, and Lavender Lemonade that was to die for, made by my sister.

While enjoying snacktime, we checked out the Glade® Home Style Studio. It’s a really neat Facebook app in which you can choose a room you want to design, and then you answer all kinds of questions about your interests and favorite things. At the end, you get a customized “styleboard” full of great design ideas! We had so much fun playing around with it. At the end of the party, everyone got to go home with a goody bag of Glade® Expressions™ products to use in their own home. It was a great afternoon! Here are some pictures of me and a couple of my guests playing around with the Glade® Home Style Studio:
