As one of the partners of Social RevUp, one of the things I do is tweet along with our weekly radio show, “Brands and Bloggers Radio”. The show goes out over the internet every Wednesday evening at 9 p.m. Central time and is hosted by Beth Rosen. Each week, Beth interviews three bloggers about things like how they got started blogging, what kinds of social media platforms they enjoy, and different aspects of working with brands. We have bloggers of all different levels on the show, and they blog about all kinds of different things, so it’s always very interesting. Plus, Beth is really, really, really good at what she does so it’s always entertaining, too.
As I mentioned, I tweet during the show (along with my partners MJ and Dwana). We use the hashtag #BBRadio as well as #BBSummit12. BBSummit12 is the Brands and Bloggers Summit, a day-long conference that has sessions all about, you guessed it, brands and bloggers working together. Social RevUp is producing the conference, and it will happen on Saturday, July 21 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago.
ANYWAY, long story short, if you have any interest at all in learning about this conference, tonight is your night. The main topic on tonight’s show? The conference. The guests on tonight’s show? MJ, Dwana, and me. We prerecorded it on Sunday night because our Ms. Rosen had something that she couldn’t (and frankly, wouldn’t want to) reschedule tonight. Doing the show was really fun, and I think you’ll enjoy listening to it.
Now I have the uncomfortable problem of having to tweet while listening TO MYSELF for an hour. I’m hoping that I was entertaining enough to keep my mind off of how much I hate listening to my own voice.
