Am I Stalking Her, Or Is It the Other Way Around???

You are NOT going to believe this. I was just lunching at my local Panera with a friend from our temple. Well, that you may believe. This is the unbelievable part… As my friend was telling me a story, I looked up and caught a glimpse of a familiar-looking bright pink jacket. Any guesses? Click here for a hint. I thought, “Nahh…couldn’t be!” I didn’t want to be rude to my friend, so at that point I didn’t say anything. Shortly thereafter, I saw the pink jacket and her friend walk around the corner towards the back of the Panera, either to get a drink refill or to go to…

  • Working On My Fitness

    Ahhhh…Now THAT Feels Good.

And I’m not talking about your lovely comments about my new blog look, although your feedback was great! (Janice and Joe-prah, I may work on photoshopping the fam into the header eventually, when I get more spare time! LOL) What I’m talking about is I just this morning took the test on that freakin’ book, and by passing (ahem, with flying colors!), I completed the last of my continuing ed credits for renewing my ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification, which happens to expire in 8 days! (Did you really think I would have finished the work and renewed it at any time earlier than the last moment? You obviously don’t…

Looking for Comments From the Peanut Gallery…

What about my new look? Yes, yes, I know my header is sticking out of the border on the right side. I have to go teach a class and can’t fiddle with it at the moment. Thoughts? On the Header? (Don’t let the fact that I LOVE the header affect what you say…LOL) Thoughts on the color? Thoughts on, well, anything? Thanks in advance! P.S. Thanks to my evil German twin sister and to my cyber sister for the recent inspiration to make the change away from the black! It’s been bugging me because I am a very sunshine-y person (ask my REAL sister!) and I wanted something more welcoming!

    Fun at Work

One of the things that I find hysterical at work is the sense of humor of some of the people I work with. In a salon environment full of women, sometimes it can be hard to find humor in all the drama that tends to show its ugly face, but we manage. Marketing is a big part of my job and, in this sort-of-slow month of Feburary, we’ve been trying to come up with different postcard offers to send to clients who haven’t been in for a while. I can’t take the credit for the actual idea on this one, but I did execute what they wanted. It makes me…

Tagged! part Zwei (that’s “two” to you English speakers)

Okay, so as I was saying earlier, I got tagged by my evil German twin sister Kat to do this book meme. Here are the Rules: 1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages). 2. Open the book to page 123. 3. Find the fifth sentence. 4. Post the next three sentences. 5. Tag five people & post a comment here once you post it to your blog, so I can come see. I probably had a book or two that was closer to me, but the book I am currently reading is Women’s Strength Training Anatomy by Frederic Delavier. OY, this is my nightmare book. I…

    Tagged!

I was tagged twice over the weekend! Kat tagged me for the book meme which I hope to do later this afternoon, because the book I’m reading is upstairs and I’m too lazy to go and get it. Plus, I have to leave for work in about 20 minutes and…well, I’m wasting time by explaining. The other tag I got was from my New Friend Siobhan (she’s Scottish, you know! LOL). Here are the instructions and my answers: A) Each player answers the questions about themselves. B) At the end of the post, the player then tags 2 people and posts their names, then goes to their blog and leaves…

The Grocery Store Can Be Soooo Romantic

We were in need of a few grocery items, and Jim was going to run to the store. I said, “Hey, want some company?” We left the kids home (you folks with younguns don’t know the joys of doing this yet, but ohmygosh, you’ll love it when it’s your turn!) and took off, with my “$10 off a $50 purchase” coupon in hand. Our local grocery store is in the midst of a Grand Re-opening Weekend because they just remodeled. We parked the car and entered the store. Jim offered me something from the in-store Starbucks because he wanted a coffee and didn’t want to drink alone. LOL We picked…

Post-Party Depression Sure Made This Week Fly By…

Yes, you read that right: Post-PARTY depression. I keep thinking about finishing up on my Bar Mitzvah summary posts, but this week has been so busy for me between getting my house back to normal, having the 13-year-old home sick with strep throat Monday and Tuesday (don’t get me started) and subbing a few extra group cycling classes…I’m exhausted just typing about it! I’m going to do this post as quickly as possible (forgive any typos!), because I want to work on a magazine article this afternoon: this is my first free couple of hours in a week or two! I still don’t have access to the photos taken by…
