I Laughed, I Cried…It Became A Part of Me

Remember when I posted about the shows I was so excited about? Last night, “Wipeout” premiered on ABC. I have to tell you, I laughed so hard that I was crying. There is not much substance to the show; I’ll admit that. However, to see people run through these silly obstacle courses is so entertaining that I will continue to watch it mostly for the Laugh Factor.

If you missed it, you can watch the full episode online, here. (Kat, Katie, anyone out there not in the US? Watch it!)

As an added bonus, John Henson from E! Entertainment Channel’s “Talk Soup” is the cohost. (We stopped watching the show when he left! Sorry, Tennessee!) His commentary is absolutely hilarious. Just for kicks, here’s a clip from the old days.

I dare any of you out there to try to get through “Wipeout” next week without laughing your butt off. I don’t think it can happen!

I laughed so flipping hard at those people bouncing off the big, red balls!

It takes time, but the new version of The Soup will grow on you. It cracks me up too! The host is pretty funny…give it a couple of episodes. I promise!

We used to watch a show like this on Discovery Channel…I’m pretty sure I spent most of my time thinking why are these people doing this…

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the Japanese version of it and was sad when it no longer played. So, this is very exciting indeed.

I missed it this week though-I’ll have to watch it online this weekend.

I saw the ads for this show a few weeks back and have just been waiting for it to debut. It was HILARIOUS. I laughed through the whole thing. Priceless!

Alright Momo, I will look for the Soup and give it another try. Since you watched Wipeout I know that we have a similar sense of humor…

Kat: I think you’ll LOVE it.

Melissa: I know why the folks on Wipeout are doing it: $50,000!

Mags: Yeah, I heard tonight in class that this show was originally from Japan. (not surprised; I’ve heard alot about their goofy game shows!) You’ll have a great laugh when you watch!

Kathy: Yay that you watched it too! I love all of this validation that I’m not the only “weirdo” who likes these dumb shows. LOL
