Here’s a quick programming note:
One of my tv obsessions, “The Locator”, has a new season starting this Saturday, March 21 at 9:00 Eastern/8:00 Central on WEtv! Yay!
You may recall the little post that I did about the show back in October when I first, er, located it. Troy Dunn, the Locator himself, even left me a comment! That was thrilling. (and, when you think about it, not surprising at all that a P.I. would have a Google Alert set for his own name or tv show title) If you missed it, click here to read it.
So, I for one know where my butt will be on Saturday night: on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn. If I read my program guide correctly, the season premiere will be an hour long. I’d better stock up on Kleenex.
Also, stay tuned here for a story about my search for my 5th grade teacher, the lady to whom I give partial credit for my desire to be a writer. I’m on the case and hope to discover success very soon.
Here’s a note especially for Troy Dunn, in case you cross paths with my blog again today:
Hi Troy. I never heard from your producers about the show featuring my reunion with a sock, but that’s okay; I’ll still watch. I asked my husband if he would care if I commuted to Florida so I could be a part of your team, and I’m not sure but I think I got a little bit of an eyeroll, so I guess for now it’s not meant to be. Maybe someday! Hold a space at that table for me! (I want to sit next to your mom) Oh, and Troy? Why aren’t you on Twitter?
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show!!! My hubby doesn’t indulge in many of my reality TV show obsessions but this one he likes as well! How cool is it that you got a comment from TROY!?! It’s like you’re almost famous now!!!
I started watching this show after your post. It’s good.
Do you think Troy contacted you via google search, or do you think that maybe Sandy Tompkins from the 4th grade is trying to track you down to get that 5 bucks you owe her?
It could happen…

Jennifer: It was WAY cool. Made my day! (but I’m not almost famous, silly!)
NukeDad: Yay! I didn’t know you were watching. Do you cry your eyes out at the end, too?
Is this bowl of popcorn BEFORE or after the steak and twice baked potato? I’m jealous. Tell me you at least do the Alton Brown kind of popcorn (if not, you NEED me to make this for you once, and you’ll be hooked)!
NukeDad, it’s okay if you cry. I have never seen this show, but I don’t know if I can start. I have about 45 hours backed up on my DVR!

Michelle: Of course it’s after, silly. Probably way after. I plan to have dinner at a decent hour (5:45-6?) and be relaxing in my jammies on the couch with Roxie for a while before I even think of the popcorn. And I will totally take you up on the Alton Brown popcorn. Never had it. 🙂
Momo: I have about 45 hours too! Luckily a lot of it is stuff we’ve watched but like too much to delete.
