I am so very, very, very thankful for each and every one of you, my readers. That being said, I am having a little problem that is stressing me out and I’m hoping you can help me out with it. I am having a hard time responding to comments like I used to; I’ve been super busy lately. I appreciate each and every comment and I feel absolutely terrible when I don’t leave one back. It’s giving me a little anxiety because I don’t want you to think that my lack of response=me not caring what you are saying.
What I’d like to do, when I’m too busy to respond here, is reply to your comment via e-mail. This won’t be difficult for me when it comes to those of you who are already in my inner circle; I’ve already GOT your e-mail addresses. The rest of you, though, I don’t. If you’re on Blogger (and you want to do this) there is a setting in your dashboard that you can change so that, when I get the e-mail telling me you’ve left a comment, your reply e-mail address will be there. That way, I can hit “reply” and zip off a witty response to you almost right away, even if I’m running errands (I’ve got e-mail access on my phone).
The way you change it is this:
1. Go to your Dashboard.
2. Look on the left side, where your avatar is. It gives you the choice to either “View Profile”, “Edit Profile”, or “Edit Photo”.
3. Click on “Edit Profile”.
4. The third checkbox down is “Show my e-mail address”; click it!
5. Don’t forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and save your changes.
That’s it!
I will still attempt to respond in comments whenever possible, because I like the back-and-forths we often have; I just thought I’d throw this other suggestion out there!
Thanks so much! Oh, and if you’d like some more content from me today, hit up my “Teen Angst” Column over at Dad Blogs!
Thanks for your time and attention.

Been there done that. I think that's why I stopped blogging, it was just to hard to keep up on 100 blogs and then comments and emails from my blog.
This is supposed to be fun not anything that causes you stress or anxiety…however you decide to handle it, it's all good with us!

I totally know what you mean, I try to comment when I can. I put a disclaimer on my blog that says I appreciate every single comment and that I apologize if I don't comment back at times. Cheers! 🙂

Done… didn't even know that was there.

I am not leaving you a comment because you will not respond on your blog in a timely manner.
That said, "That way, I can hit "reply" and zip off a witty response to you almost right away,"-cracked my ass up!

I could leave you a comment, but I am too busy too. Ask around, I am hardly as annoying as I used to be.
