    Treat Time

I took this slightly entertaining video of Roxie’s performance when she wanted a treat the other day. When it involves getting anything to eat, she is a complete maniac. Towards the end there, I was trying to get her to sit, which she knows how to do, but she also knows she’s at her cutest when she’s laying down. (or it seems like she knows: LOL) She cracks me up! I have another post coming later today, but first a busy day at work! I want to tell you about the event we had at the salon yesterday, and Kat tagged me for another list… So much to do, so…

    Time For a Little Humor

Whew! After all of my complaining about Walmart right here, and Swishy’s complaining about New York & Company here, and Julie’s news story about Walmart here (though that was a very funny story), I thought we could all use a laugh (and if you read my NaBloPoMoFo posts, I’m using the same pictures from today’s because I love them so much! So ignore!!). Here is the hubby, playing with Roxie. Yes, they’re really playing. He can get away with anything, because she adores him. I mean, look at her eyes! Happy Hallo-weiner!

Here’s our own version of a weiner dog! Of course, we had to totally bribe Roxie with her favorite thing (treats) in order to get her to wear this for the two-minute photo session (and no, she’s not wearing contacts…the spooky eyes are just a by-product of a bad flash…): “If…I…could…just…get…this…on…” Notice the twelve-year-old just sprawled out on the chair in the background. “C’mon dude…you’re killing me here!” FINALLY, some assistance. Eyes on the prize. Happy Halloween! ***BTW, Manic: Even YOU have to admit this is adorable…

Random Thoughts From My W-A-L-K This Morning

I really enjoy walking, even more than I enjoy ironing. I made a promise to myself that when we brought Roxie home, I would walk her regularly: something I didn’t do with Bijoux. Actually, upon bringing Roxie home, I discovered that she was going to make it so I HAD to walk her regularly, because she is so full of energy that she just needs to get it out just to–well,–behave herself! Roxie, Summer 2005 We are big fans of Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer. Most of the “problems” he encounters on his show are caused by not enough exercise (the dog, not the person). As a puppy, Roxie was…
