Six Reasons Why Solo Road Trips Rock
I arrived in Columbus yesterday afternoon to spend a couple of days with Momo (we’re lunching with Christina while I’m here, too!). It took about six hours to get here (plus an extended lunch stop and visit with Tabatha in Dayton), and the drive was positively glorious. Nothing against my husband, boys, sister, or anyone else with whom I’ve ever hit the road, but solo road tripping is pretty darn amazing. Here’s why: 1. Not The Titanic Museum Post You Thought You Were Getting.
A few weeks ago, my mother-in-law called me because she and my father-in-law were trying to figure out something fun for us to do when Jim and I visited them for the weekend of July 4. Though I fully appreciate the sentiment behind her words and I am happy to have a reputation for being a hard…

My #BlogHerFood In Pictures
Although I have attended BlogHer’s annual conference for the past four years, this was my first BlogHer Food conference, and my first conference as a member of the BlogHer team. The Super Special Bonus of my weekend was that I got to work and play almost every minute right alongside one of my BFFs. I had a great time and the experience only made me more excited about next month’s annual conference in my hometown. I have gathered some pictures together to try and give you the essence of my weekend. Here goes: Momo and I attended an event with The Pioneer Woman and, while sitting on a couch across…
